What it is?
Goods Dispatch: It is one of the key stages of logistics operations since it connects warehousing with transport which includes processes such as packaging, labeling and goods transport to final customer.

How does it work ?
- Delivery Planning
At this stage tasks are delegated, requests are confirmed and separated in order to be sent on the same day. That’s when delivery times and conditions are also defined.
- Cargo Consolidation
When goods from different picking areas (order preparation) or from the warehouse are consolidated and grouped according to characteristics they have in common. Without the planning stage described above it may occur a process blockage, because goods can be retained while waiting for the missing references accompanying the order.
- Packaging and Documentation
In addition to being the last stage of the product inside the warehouse, it is also at this time that all documents necessary for the shipment of goods are checked, such as: receipt of the order; order picking; delivery note route; among others. Through WMS (Warehouse Management System) you can check what’s missing to complete the order and also check the volume and weight of goods.
- Cargo Loading
When the order is confirmed, documentation should be delivered to the carrier responsible for transporting the cargo and the truck can finally be loaded at pick-up location.
