GCC Countries – Oman, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait – currently import about 90% of their food needs, so the value of the food sector in these markets already exceeds $60 billion – with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia at $45 billion, representing 51% of total GCC food sales, and the United Arab Emirates at over $7 billion.

For these markets, it is projected that there will be around 1,000 investments in the tourism sector, with 750 hotels, 140 resorts and more than 170,000 rooms currently under construction.
The region’s project pipeline exceeds $2.9 trillion and includes the construction of hospitals, airports, shopping malls, hotels, residences, and amusement parks.
