Portugal continues its successful route around the world! Portuguese products and services have been increasingly internationalized in recent decades, expressing a strong acceleration in recent years. Only in February, Portuguese exports reached 6.4 million euros, which means an increase of 7% compared to last year. This is therefore the fourth consecutive month which exports grow above imports.
Spain has a special emphasis since it is the country with the largest contribution to global export growth (26.2%). Followed by France (13.5%) and Germany (10.9%). Outside European Union, the main customers were United States (5.1%) and United Kingdom (4.6%) Among all exported goods the main ones were: Machinery and Appliances (+24.9%), Vehicles and Other Transport Material (+18%), Agricultural (+19.2%) and Food (+19.2%).
